I'm back in Blogland finally!

I think I had said in my first post back that I had major computer troubles for awhile. The length of time had more to do with my being busy and not wanting to face the fact that I was going to have to shell out more $$ for a computer that was brand spanking new in Feburary. My setup was basically rejecting my internet....it became incompatible with the programming he put in it. I tried everything I could think of when I had time, but there was no way I was going to be able to fix it myself. So I finally called him (the one who built it) and he came to check it out and ended up having to take it back with him. I could literally see the dollar signs adding up at that moment. He ended up having to strip all programing out and putting new in. And get this...he said that it was a known issue having to do with HP computers and the XP service pack he originally put in it! If he KNEW it was known, why did he do it? Well, it ended up that he didn't charge me for anything but his time....and well, his time is pretty expensive to start with! lol He did earn brownie points for delivering it back to me the morning of the 4th. He never takes a day off- not even holidays! lol I swear, if it kicks the can again...I'm selling it and buying one off the shelf!

Anyhow...I have been busy. Aren't we all? Between school getting out, baseball, and the vegetable garden, I would probably not had a lot of time to much on here anyway. But I SOOOO missed reading my blogs!

Now for a few pics...boring ones for today :o) Here is one of the gardens as of a week ago or so. I'll have you know that I am a bit anal about my garden. I like it neat, and I don't care for weeds whatsoever. Besides, it's in our front yard, so I can't put up with it looking messy. I think in this picture, I can see weeds around the pepper plants....yep, they are there. We had just re-tilled in between the rows. I do have the one empty row that will get lettuce or beans in it. Haven't decided yet.

Besides gardening, there has been some fishing.....
Gannon with his fish (a crappie maybe? He knows better than I do!) from our pond in the backyard. His pole had broke, and a guy who works with my hubs brought this one in to work for hubs to give Gannon. Within 20 minutes of getting the 'new' pole, Gannon had this fish on the line :o)

Brady with his BIG Bass from the neighbors lake...

He was so proud of that one! With good reason! lol Luckily they had the cell phone with them and got this picture. He called me and asked if he could text it to me, and I- not knowing HOW big it was- just told him to show me when he got home...lol. It was the biggest fish any of my boys have caught so far! I do have a picture of Calvin with a somewhat big fish from a different neighbors lake, but he doesn't have his shirt on and well, he's a little self-concious about that. So I will post one of him another time. I just love that my boys are growing up able to just walk outside and cast a line out anytime they want :o) That's what they have been living for this summer.

There have been rainbows....

Same rainbow(s) different ends...it was beautiful.

And what else? I guess I haven't been good at taking pictures so far this summer. I have some of our 'camp' back by the creek. I'll post those another day. We have spent some time down there this summer and it's a nice getaway- at least from the yard :o) It's at the back of the property and it is so peaceful back there.

I did a porch swap with Rondell from Tomatoe Creek Prims and she sent me a great package. I have a pic of what she sent me, but I guess I didn't load it on my computer yet. I really thought I had. Oh well, another day for that one too. It has been hard trying to get into a creative mood without my internet! I get so inspired from reading everyones blogs and seeing what they have been up to. It's going to take me a few days to catch up, but I'll get there eventually. Right now, I have laundry waiting for me to hang it out in the sun, so I'd better get moving before the boys wake up. Hope I didn't bore you too much- I hope to be able to post some better primitive things soon!
