It sure does, doesn't it? I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted! I'm not getting any closer to having my 100th post giveaway unless I get to 100 first! lol It really HAS been busy this last week and a half though. My sister came in from Vegas last Wednesday, and two more came on Friday- one from Columbus and one from Michigan w/her family. We all spent a better part of a week at my mom's house visiting, relaxing, and wondering where summer was! The kids all got to play- although my two oldest went to New York w/ my in-laws for 3 of those days. One thing that they didn't get to do was swim in Grandma's pool- until the last day. That was disappointing for them.
Besides visiting w/family, Calvin has started nightly football practices. So between that and Gannon's t-ball games (3 this week) it has been busy. Next week proves to be even better! Brady will start HIS nightly football practices-and both football practices end at the same time- at different fields! Yeah! 3 kids at 3 things in 3 different places :) I don't know how my parents did it w/ 6 girls all in sports- except that some of us were on same teams. Oh yeah, I do have a bit of a repreeve next week- I am ride sharing w/one of Calvin's team mates who lives close by- so next week is his mom's turn to drive. A little better :)
I realized that I had not shown another one of my quilt blocks that I have been painting. So here it is:

I loved the colors in this one-very fall-feeling. I was sorting through my bins of paints, and I realized that I don't have a good orange color. All I do have is Pumpkin- and it's too bright. And come to think of it- I haven't even seen a good, drab orange in the store either? So I took a half-bottle of orange and made my own :) I have 6 other blocks in the works- just not had the time to finish them as of yet!Well, the sun is shining finally, so I'd better get to the laundry. I try to take full advantage of hanging it out to dry. I have to right now-my dryer is on the fritz (the laundry of 3 boys may have something to do with that :) and I need to call the repairman. One year I went from mid-May until beginning of November w/o a dryer! lol that was fun:) I could have gotten one, but just kept putting it off until I had to. The boys were so excited when we went to get it- Brady said, " This is so cool- now our underwear won't be 'crunchy' anymore!" LOL
