Just home for a few hours between my shifts at work today.  Got a few more pictures of the critters I have to care for while there :-)  It becomes a pain when my client asks me every 30 minutes if the critters have peanuts and seeds….but these dang things sure have grown on me!

I took this one from inside….they enjoy sitting on the chair for a snack

The black ones seem the most unafraid of me.  I was standing out there on the patio (you can see a piece of it in the bottom right corner) and he was 2 feet from me, just munching away :-)  I’ll have them taking peanuts out of my hand by summer! lol

The grays are a bit more cautious and only if I stand really still, will they come up to the food pile

The snow is melting again, and I was quite shocked to look down at my last ‘feeding’  and see this patch remaining…

Now how cool is that?  Hopefully this is a sign of winter’s fond farewell :-)
